The basic forms used to create the walls of the house are called Polysteel forms. Polysteel forms are a fairly new material that is extremely energy efficient and almost completely soundproof. The forms are made of two shaped pieces of polystyrene joined together by metal strips that when fitted together like blocks form a hollow wall. When the wall is complete you fill it with concrete and it forms one solid unit that can stand up to the elements while keeping the interior a comfortable temperature.
